Probably one of the greatest discoveries ever.
From Substance Research to a Cosmic Shift: How an Unnoticed Textual Link Redefined My View on Ethics
Back in the 1990s, during my PhD research on drug users (1991–1997), I stumbled upon a fascinating sideline. In the margins of my data, I found myself analyzing a niche set of ancient texts exploring the historical relationship between religion and psychotropic substances.
At the time, it was a compelling academic detour. But fast forward to 2011—the year I became vegan.
With fresh eyes and a completely shifted worldview, I decided to revisit those exact same texts. What I discovered felt like a glitch in the matrix. Hidden within familiar narratives was a world-shifting realization about human autonomy, moral development, and our relationship with the living world.
For years, mainstream interpretations have looked at these foundational texts through one specific lens. But what if we’ve been misreading a crucial cosmic test all along? What if ancient wisdom wasn't setting a permanent norm, but rather waiting for human consciousness to mature?
I am currently finalizing a framework that bridges the gap between adult education, ancient theology, and radical non-violence. It redefines a pivotal historical moment not as a divine concession, but as a test of moral autonomy that we might still be failing today.
Stay tuned.
